Sunrise, Florida – March 1, 2024 – Today, Ernst & Young announced that Matt Herman, CEO of Enhance Health, one of the fastest-growing insurtech platforms in America, has been selected as a nominee for the EY Entrepreneur Of The Year award.
EY Entrepreneur Of The Year™ recognizes unstoppable entrepreneurial achievement among individuals and companies that demonstrate vision, leadership and success.

Herman has been recognized due to a variety of factors, including the explosive growth of Enhance Health, as well as his advocacy for health equity. As a testament to the agency’s strategy and purpose, Herman was able to raise $150 million from Bain Capital to launch Enhance Health in 2021. In just over two years of business, Enhance Health has signed up more people for insurance via the Affordable Care Act than any other broker to date. Additionally, the company fields more than 20,000 calls daily and has earned an annual revenue of more than $500M. Even while experiencing this rapid growth, the mission of Enhance Health remains the same, and that is bringing affordable healthcare to all especially underserved and underrepresented communities.
